The booking guardrails that protect your schedule. The two-hour maximum is hard enforced in the booking UI, availability API, and checkout API.

Schedule buffer
Add cleanup/prep time between appointments. A fixed 20-minute turnover buffer is applied to availability and conflict checks.
Protection checklist
✓ Client cannot book an add-on by itself.
✓ Client cannot combine two main services.
✓ Total service + add-ons cannot exceed 120 minutes.
✓ Availability calculates the complete appointment duration.
✓ Checkout rechecks the complete duration before creating payment.
✓ Promo discounts cannot bypass the appointment rules.
